12 Days of Photoshop: Day 6
I think thsi worked rather well. It does have a nice motion blur effect I wanted, then creating multiple basketballs and chagning the opacity, the other side ended up looking rather nice.

12 Days of Photoshop: Day 5
Bit wierd, don't you think? I don't think I need to say antything else. Its looks bad because thats part of the art of it...

12 Days of Photoshop: Day 4
Bit interesting don't you think. Hard project, simple to do, hard to make look good. I did my best, and its looks like paper mache. Not too bad, but definitly not my favorite project to work on.

12 Days of Photoshop: Day 3
Pretty happy with this one. Twisting Jaws into Paws was good fun. There is nothing I dislike about this poster. Overall, good amount of fun.

12 Days of Photoshop: Day 2
Behold!! My latest creation from Photoshop. I really wanted to give a Disney or a Pixar character lightning bolts, so who better than Jafar to recieve them. I thought this went really well, and I would love to do this again. Beware superheroes, there's a new villian on the market!!

12 Days of Photoshop: Day 1
I don't really like this one. I thought it would be easy, simple, and clever. In reality however, this turned out to be incredibly difficult and I don't believe I did that idead justice. The entire thing just looks unnatural, and the cut out does not work as well as I thought it would. However, any porject is better than no project. To me, this is a bit rushed.

Parts is Parts Platypus
FIrst project I've posted for a while. This one turned out nicely. I used a custom brush of pincushions, a picture of a pringle for the beack, a shell for the foot, and the earth for the eye. I even added a drop shadow, and a different background, and shaded different parts of the pltypus to add more contrast and make it more realistic. I'm very happy with how this turned out and I don't have any problems with it.

Dalek Paint Brush Test
This was a test for the custom paint brush. I chose a Dalek and made him into different colors and played with the settings a bit. Now, I think it looks pretty good. I like how much control you have with the custom brush the you make, it allows you to do...many things.
Art History Mash-up Artwork
This is the artwork I plan to use for my art history mash-up. Project will be posted later when completed.

Typography Portrait
I am extremely happy with this. I think it has much detail in it, and it looks jsut like the original. I learned how to create a typograph portrait with this piece, and I don't have a single problem with it. It's one of my best pieces to date. the most difficult part was getting the words in the place that I wanted them to be in.

Box Label (Back)
I thought the back label worked fine as well. Same basic design as the front, but the back has the short list so it does not look as nice as the front, but it still looks good and gets the point across.
Box Label (Front)
I think this looks pretty good. It humorfull, and gets the point across. I think the monster on the right side looks pretty good. I oringinally was going to use a picture of the earth being destroyed, but decided that would be too graphic and decided to use the death star blowing up. (Sci-Fi stuff, yeah) I have no real problem with this.

Magazine Cover
So for, this was the best part of the magazine project. I liked designing it, and while its not quite as attention grabbing as some of the others i've seen. I think it gets the point across (the lasers were a nice touch though ;) ) I like the cover, and I like how it looks official. As with the magazine artical, I did have several more ideas to put onto the cover, but they didn't work. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the result.
Magazine Article
I thought this was a clever idead, spread the text so that it's shaped like a football. This was simple, easy, and effective to do. I like how the texts curves, yet its still legible, and the football in the center adds a point to help focus the text. What I didn't like about this is that I had several more ideas that I tried to implement into this project, but I couldn't get them to work. From this piece, I learned how to work with text in Photoshop.
Animated Figure
This worked pretty well for me. To clarify, the images are Noel's but he graciously gave them to me, and I reworked them into a different animation sequence. I like how fluid the entire thing looks, and how great the entire thing is. I wished I could have used my own images, but they were erased, and there wasn't any time left. What I learned from this piece is that animation can run smoothly when done correctly.

TARDIS Cupmation
This was a fun project to work on (with the exception of the unintentional nazi symobl we created which was realized during filming.) I think the cups work really well with animation. The filming was smooth and we were able to fit it into one class period. The only unsuccessful thing I noticed was again the unintentional creation of a nazi symbol. The thing I learned from this piece was that you can create animation by clooding still photos will a fixed camera together, and it looks good.

Aisha Retouch3
I am incredibly happy with this retouch. I think it's the best one I have done so far. Everything seems to work together almost seamlessly. The only thing I am unhappy with is the neck, That part of the picture just dosen't look real to me. It looks like a took a couple of crayons and drew that part in. I tried my best to get that part looking good, but my efforts were fruitless. Overall, I am still incredibly happy with this picture
Retouch Picture 2
This one turned out alright, but not as good as the first one I did. In some places it looks entirely too pale and I couldn't get that skin back that way it was before without making look lie her face was being burnt. To me, this is still not bad.
Retouch Picture 1
I thought this turned out pretty good. In comparison with the original, it looks much better. If I could do this again, i would try to make her face a bit less red than it is right now. Overall, i am extremely satisfied with this photo.

What Came Out Coke Regeneration
I thought this would be a really cool idea, adding an exploding coke effect to a regeneration scene from Doctor Who. It didn’t quite turn out like how I thought it would in my head, but I still like it. I did have a separate color for the hands than the head, and it does look rather cool. If I could do this again, I would try to make a more realistic “effect” and try to blend it in more. Overall, I’m happy with the result.

Layer Project Crack
I liked how this turned out. I just pushed a part of the picture back and created a strange, glowing crack. At the same time though, the crack kind of creeps me out. It’s just how it’s shaped, like the wall is smiling. I really enjoyed working on this, and if I could do this again, I would try to get the glow from the crack. It looks fine right now, but I wish I could get more from it.

Color Wheel Pacman
I thought of Pacman while trying to do a “color wheel” and I thought it would be a great idea. So I took the original pacman game and reversed the roles (lol). By the end, I have to say this didn’t turn out to be a color wheel. But I like the fact that the four Pacmans are the same color as the ghosts are. I really enjoyed doing this, and if I could I would try to add more pacman around in a circle and then try to do an actual color wheel.
Creepy Colored Peg Doll
I really enjoyed making this. It’s a simple idea applied to what I believe to be a creepy object. Everything about it looks great and I don’t have any problems with it. I wouldn’t change anything about. To me, this is a great image.

Lliraffe
I thought this image went rather well, as you can see it all fits together. Layering the body and the head worked well together and it created a seamless image. I wish there was some way to color the head, but i don't know of any yet that actually work. If if could do this again i would try to find a way to make the head the same color as the body. the most difficult part was cutting around the image of the giraffe head to place onto the llama. When you cut off pieces, there are ways to make the cut smooth.
Frog Tongue
1. I think the tongue went pretty well, it looks good.
2. Mostly, I think this project was a success, I’m not happy about the part where you can see overlap of the frog and the tongue if you look closely.
3. Overall, everything worked well. The shadowing looks great, and so does the transformed frog. And like I said earlier, I’m not happy about the overlap.
4. I would try and get rid of the overlap.
5. Trying to color the frog the same as the tongue as hard as I wasn’t using the tool right for about 20 minutes, and until a friend helped.
6. I learned how to mesh images together.

6 Questions About Every Project
1. Describe your overall thoughts on the final piece.
2. How successful do you feel this piece is and why?
3. What worked about this project? What didn’t work?
4. If you were to do this project over again, what changes would you consider making?
5. What was the most difficult part about completing this piece and why?
6. What did you learn from this piece?
2. How successful do you feel this piece is and why?

Clone Project
1. I was very happy with the image. So far, this is my favorite project in Animation, and I hope more like this are on the way
2. I think every element worked out how it was supposed to, so I’m extremely pleased with it.
3. I think every element worked with this picture, the lighting was good, the location was good, the layering was good, the figures were good, and it was just a good shot. If I’m being extremely picking, I wish I could have done more with the opacity to help make the “invisibility” more realistic.
4. I would add another me (yeah), and add more effects to the invisible me.
5. The most difficult part was putting all of the separate images together. That was incredibly challenging in some parts.
6. From this piece, I learned to layer images.
